Millennium Decking Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary
of
Wood Composite Technologies Inc. (WCT).
WCT was established in 1996 as a research company to
develop polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and wood flour compounding
and manufacturing technologies. Millennium Decking Inc.
was established to commercialize the technologies and
the products developed by WCT.
The principal manufacturing facility is a modern plant with six
extrusion machines. Two dual extrusion machines and
three single extrusion machines produce deck boards
while the sixth is used for trims and fascia. Production
capacity is sufficient to supply current demand and
the scalable plant will allow for increased capacity
as market demand grows over the next several years.
The plant is located close to the source of the wood
flour. The PVC is shipped in from sources located across
North America.
The management team of Millennium Decking™ has over
two hundred years of combined experience in the finance,
manufacture, distribution and sales of building materials.
The manufacturing facility employs over 20 full time
employees including a technical director with extensive
experience in composite formulations. The technical
director has an in-house testing lab complete with a
small lab extruder and works closely with the plant
manager on quality control of finished product. The
technical director also investigates new applications
for our patented formulation.
